Our 2023 Portfolio

This year has been especially busy for our centre, the cost of living crisis has meant that more people in our community have needed our help and services. Our Community Support Officer has been busier than ever helping people with benefit advice and claims. We have done a lot of work around personal wellbeing this year including offering free counselling sessions and subsided holistic therapies. Our Café has also had a busy year serving subsided meals & we have hired two new members of staff to help keep up with the demand. Centre staff and volunteers have been supporting the centre in any way they can this year including fundraising for a new bus by completing the Tough Mudder (a gruelling endurance obstacle course); This is not to mention all the other additional things we have done this year like bingo at the Graniger Centre, Remembrance Day Parade, sponsoring the White Stars football team and lots of children’s activities.
